Fin

I've completed the great Spread the Blog Love challenge as of this very minute. I visited each and every link listed right here: http://randomdailyramblings.blogspot.com/2008/04/blog-rolling-with-my-homies.html and attempted to leave a comment on all 217. There were only a few that I was unable to comment on for some reason or another but not for lack of trying!

I have to say there are some very interesting voices out there. Some made me laugh, some made me cry, and some left me scratching my head and wondering what the hell did I just read!

I encourage you to spend a little time reading each and every one of them. You won't like them all but I swear you will find someone out there that you can relate to and wonder if you are actually kin to them somehow. I did.

By leaving comments on all of these blogs it has drawn some amazing people here to my own site and they have left some great comments. I hope you all come back and share in my antics.

If I take nothing else out of the challenge I can say without a doubt that bloggers are in a league of their own. It's a great way to reach out to others and connect through similar experiences or curiosity of how others make their way though this crazy thing called life.

I just wish I could add each and every one to my sidebar but it's way too long. I'll just have to keep my list handy and go back and visit them all again.

See ya around blog friends!!

Wow, what enterprisingness and determination (and that at 100 degrees outside, at least in these here parts)! Thanks for your comment, DeeDee, and glad I found your blog.

A veritable blog marathon! Now, make sure you cool down properly, stretch, rehydrate, otherwise your brain will seize up and you'll never be able to read another blog again!

Great idea! You had tried to leave me a comment on my blog, but it didn't have a place to do so! I have since come to my senses and changed blog locations, but kept all the kooky fun! Lol! Come check me out at www.adventuresofmamag.blogspot.com
Thanks for the shout out!!

Brava! You've inspired me to try to get through a few on the list. It must have been like travelling around the world in 15 (?) days and picking up some nice souvenirs!!
I've got you bookmarked now!

Good for you DeeDee! I know I certainly found quite a few new blogs I have been reading daily. I have definitely been going back and commenting more on those who took the trouble to come back and comment on mine. I've met some fun people. =D

I don't think Danny Evans knew what a good thing he was starting when he suggested all of his readers to mention their blogs on his site. It is a great thing, and a great way to network and get exposure to some really great people!

I still can't believe you did that (or had the time to DO that!).

Oh and the Batman thing on the side, I guess you shouldn't change a winning formula. Not to speak ill of the dead, but I felt Ledger's acting ability was overly-dramaticized due to his untimely death (much like Brandon Lee when he was killed during the making of "The Crow") but who knows, maybe he just hadn't had the right role. I just keep thinking back to that Knight movie he did where the crowd was all singing, "We will rock you" during a jousting tournament. That kind of historical innacuracy (when it's terribly blatant) just turns me off.

But yeah, you could put Pee Wee Herman in a Batman suit and I'd go see it!

Hey Dee Dee - come through from your post on my blog - thanks so much for visiting!
I'm so impressed by the people who have made it through the list - I'm trying to get through, but unfortunately, pesky things like my boss actually wanting me to do what I'm paid for keep getting in the way...
But, hey, now I've found you, I'll keep on coming back :-) (Google feeds are a great thing!)

As much as I thought y'all were a bit crazy to go through that whole list, I just realized I have over 300 blogs in my Reader. I guess you deciding to try out 200+ new blogs wasn't so crazy after all!

Thanks for swingin' by my little site! I haven't been able to hit nearly ALL of those sites, but I'm trying to visit as many as I can! Hopefully I was one of the ones you'll revisit! I know I'm comin' back here again! :-)

I, too, am in the middle of DGM's transparent attempt to buy the world a Coke and teach them all to sing by allowing us all to view everyone's blogs. Many are funny and I've enjoyed seeing how many of us there are that fall into the "questionable parenting tactics" catagory. Thanks for vistin'!
